Xbox One – Launch line up information

Microsoft have confirmed that the following title will be released on the Xbox One. A release date has not yet been confirmed but Microsoft say that it will be released within the month of November. Microsoft said yesterday that the Xbox One: Day One Edition will come with a free version of Fifa 14 available to download.

Call of Duty : Ghosts – New Information

Big changes are happening to Call of Duty Ghosts multiplayer.

Here we have split them up into three groups.

• The Soldier

The character customisation in ghosts allows you to create upto 20,000 different combinations. There are also playable female characters.

• The World

The maps shift beneath your feet with dynamic map events. There are also seven new gamemodes, 30 new weapons and an entirely new marksman gun class, 20 new killstreaks and the new squad mode which are all on a new next gen engine

• Mobility

The ability to take Call of Duty with you anywhere. Fueled by your Call of Duty account, you can create and edit your profile from anywhere with a new free mobile app.

There are more features that have been added, here are just a few.

Destructible Buildings

You will not be able to fully destroy buildings with gun fire like in battlefield, but your gunfire will be able to trigger dynamic events within the map such as dropping a bomb on a car on a ledge, it will then fall off crushing anyone underneath.

Next Gen Audio System

This games audio system is getting a major overhaul to ensure that the player gets a more immersive, realistic and full bodied experience. Everything from the voice of your team mates to your gun fire will come through with more clarity which will help more than ever.

Improved Movement

You can now lean around corners in a more ergonomic way, you can do this without having to use any button combinations, you can now also mantle objects without having to stop and jump over them, there has also been a new knee slide action that has been added to the game.

Kills Streaks

20 new killstreaks have been added to the game, one of which is the ability to call your dog riley to come and aid you in battle, he will act as a personal UAV and will bark when there are enemies near by. In this game they have decided to stray away from air based kill streaks, for example there is no longer a UAV drone in the sky that you can shoot down, it is now a Satcom device that you place on the ground. This is an advantage to the player placing it because it gives them the ability to hide it from the opposition, but it is also good to the opposition becaus they don no longer need specialist launchers to get rid of it from the sky.

Deathstreaks

They are gone, simple as that, you will not find them in call of duty ghosts.

New Weapon Class

There is a new weapon class called the marksman rifle class. These gus simply bridge the gap between assault rifles and sniper rifles. All of the marksman rifles come with flexibility with attachments and firing rates.

Pick ten weapons system

One of the things that’s changed with Call of Duty’s multiplayer is its “pick 10” system from Black Ops 2, where players spend 10 points per loadout on any combination of weapons and gear. What’s changed is that perks will now use points. Each perk has a set value between 1-5 points, with a total of 8 points allocated to each loadout. So you’ll be able to take four perks valued at 2 points, or eight perks each valued at 1.

Next Gen Carry Over

If you buy a current gen version of the game, all of the achievements, unlocks, camos and prestiges will automatically carry over if you decide to buy a next gen version later down the line.

Squads

Players of all skill levels can take their squad of soldiers into a mode called Squads. They can play alone, cooperatively up to 6-players, or competitively for one vs. one matches between their squads and those of other players.

Squads features a variety of play-types, allowing players to swap-out their custom A.I. soldiers with real friends for quick-action co-op. Activision says that the competition can be fierce as squad soldiers display “life-like, skilled tactics and behaviors like side-strafing, corner-camping, jump-shooting and more.” Players, plus their squads, will earn XP. Activision suggests that if you’re offline, your squad may get challenged for play without you.

Women Soldiers

For the first time ever in the series (unless you count the single character from Zombies mode in Black Ops 2) there will be women soldiers that you can play as in Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Three editions

In all, you’ll be able to purchase multiple editions of Call of Duty: Ghosts, which will be available for the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

– Standard Edition
– Hardened Edition, which includes a copy of the game, the DLC Season Pass, a limited edition collectible steelbook case and paracord strap.
– Prestige Edition, which includes everything from the Hardened Edition plus a Call of Duty: Ghosts 1080p Tactical Camera.

Apocalypse DLC Black Ops 2

The final DLC for black ops two is almost here.

Pod

Pod is set in a failed utopian village, where you are able to jump between small enclosed interior rooms to another taking people out along the way. Combat on this map can range from small to medium to long range fire throughout the map as you fight in,through and around the pods.

Frost

Frost takes place in post snow storm amsterdam. The map is split down the middle by a bridge that crosses a frozen river. This map allows you to have epic battles both on the bridge and under it using boats as cover.

Takeoff

Takeoff brings us back to one of the fan favorites from black ops which is ‘Stadium’ but has been given a new vibe, atmosphere, theme and a new look by being a floating rocket launch facility in the middle of the ocean, but all the familiar routes and flanking points will all still be familiar to the player.

Dig

The next map is the map ‘Dig’ which is set in an archeological site that is being excavated, it has been made around the Call of Duty: World at War map courtyard, but has been made its own map with its own unique features.

Origins

Origins is the last Zombies map in the series. As the name of the map says, it goes back to the origin of the zombies idea, where Nikolai Belinski, Tank Dempsey,Takeo Masaki and Edward Richtofen meet for the first time. They join each other in the largest scale zombie map ever made. The atmosphere is further enhanced by dynamic weather changes such as snow falling, rolling fog and rain storms.

 

 

 

 

 

 

This zombies map features two new era specific guns: the ‘MG08’ machine gun and a new starting pistol for the first time which is called the ‘mauser’.

 

 

 

 

 

 

A new feature is the zombie tank, which is a defendable platform that will move around the map which you can use to hold off zombie hordes and to possibly discover some easter eggs along the way.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oh yeah, did i mention the GIANT ROBOTS!!??

A 1000 foot robot will be striding across the landscape which will create hazards or opportunities for the skilled player making this a zombies map that has to be seen to be believed.

Black Ops 2 Uprising Gameplay Trailer

Die Rise

So what do you think of the Die Rise map?

As with new zombie maps theres always some new achievements to try and complete, here are the list of the achievements and a brief how-to

1) High Maintenance Achievement

In order to complete the high maintenance die rise achievement you will obviously need to be on the die rise map. As of now the only thing that we know about this achievement as you will need to be the architect of their instruction. The high maintenance achievement and Black Ops 2 zombies will award you with 75 gamer points.

2) Vertigoner Achievement

To complete the Vertigoner achievement and I rise you will need to use the Trample Steam to fling 10 zombies. This should be one of the easiest die rise achievements to complete. All you need to do is build the trample steam and then use it to playing a couple handfuls of zombies. The Vertigoner achievement will get you 10 gamer points.

3) Mad Without Power Achievement

You will achieve the mad without power achievement if you can make it to round 10 without turning on the power and Die Rise. This new revolution achievement is probably one of the easier ones to complete, if you actually have enough skill to make of the round 10. The map without power achievement will award you with 30 gamer points.

4) Shafted Achievement

In order to complete the shafted achievements and the revolution map pack, you will need to use the pack a punch machine and all of the perks in one game on die rise. For some people, this may be one of the more challenging achievements in the new revolution map pack. Upon completing be shafted achievement in die rise you will earn 35 gamer points.

5) Slippery When Undead Achievement

To unlock the slippery when undead achievement in Black Ops 2 zombies you will need to kill five zombies with a single shot from the Sliquifier. If you’re not familiar with the Sliquifier, it is the new wonder weapon offered in the die rise map. You will first need to build the Sliquifier in die rise, which requires you to find the four parts to it first. After you build the Sliquifier it should be pretty easy to kill five zombies with a single shot since the weapon is so powerful. After you complete the slippery when dad achievement and I rise you should see an icon pop up on the screen giving you 15 gamer points.

6) I’m My Own Best Friend Achievement

In order to complete the I am my own best friend achievement and die rise you simply need to revive yourself. This means that you will need to play a game of Black Ops 2 zombies on solo mode and use the quick revive perk. All you should have to do is purchase quick revive and then get downed. Your character will revive himself as long as you have quick revive. After you revive yourself you will complete the I am my own best friend achievement and be awarded 10 gamer points.

7) Polyarmory Achievement

If you want to complete the Polyarmory achievement you will need to play on the new turned game mode and diner. To unlock the Polyarmory achievement you will need to get a kill with each primary weapon in a public match. The Polyarmory achievement cannot be completed unless you are playing in a public match on the diner in turn mode. The new turn mode is quite a bit different than the traditional form of zombies, since you will be playing as an actual zombie. When you complete the Polyarmory achievement you should earn 30 gamer points.

8) Monkey See, Monkey Doom Achievement

Once again, in order to complete the monkey see, monkey doom achievements you will need to be playing and diner turned mode. To complete this achievement you will need to acquire a chained Cymbal Monkey in a public match. Upon the completion of monkey see, monkey doom achievements you should earn 15 gamer points.

9) I See Live People Achievement

To complete the I see why people achievement and Black Ops 2 zombies, you will need to be playing on turned game mode in the diner. As you are playing, you will need to kill the human while it’s decoy is in play in a public match. Of the I see you live people achievement should give you 20 gamer points.

10) Facing The Dragon Achievement

If you want to complete the facing the Dragon achievement on die rise you will simply need to face the Dragon had on before reaching round to. Facing the Dragon achievement is probably one of the easier of these 10 to achievements in the revolution map pack. Facing the Dragon achievement will award you with 10 gamer points.
